| But has anyone else seen improper prescribing of Allegra-D or Claritin-D? Somehow I dont think a lot of doctors realize that the D in these products stands for decongestant, which means pseudoephedrine in this case, because I have seen a number of scripts written for these products although the patient had diabetes or hypertension. |
| Allegra-D is 2 drugs, an antihistamine and a decongestant. Its the decongestant [pseudoephedrine] that causes the symptoms you mention. Try plain Allegra [or Claritin]. |
